When we started thinking about landscaping our Arizona home, we had some ideas about the design we wanted. We had initially worked with a landscape architect who developed a concept plan for us. Converting the concept plan to the actual project drawings was also very important. We knew that the complexity of our landscaping design presented some challenges. Since our primary residence is in New Jersey, and we knew that we wouldn’t be able to be at our Arizona home when the landscaping construction work was done, finding a contractor who not only was able to show creativity and ingenuity during the initial planning stage, as well as value and expert advice, but someone who was also trustworthy and reliable would be key factors in our selection. As we interviewed various landscape contractors in Phoenix, some of them had good ideas, but none of the possessed all the qualities that were important to us, except Joana Acea of Choyal Landscaping, LLC. You know how you get a good feeling about someone that makes that all-important first impression. From the first moment we met with Joana, we knew we wanted to use Choyal Landscaping because we felt that instant synergy, closeness, and confidence in Joana.

During our first meeting, Joana came up with ideas about the design that we hadn’t contemplated, which greatly improved upon our initial design concept; and she also made excellent suggestions aout how to resolve the design issues we faced. She and her staff took all the time necessary to answer our questions, which increased our confidence tremendously. In addition, Joana demonstrated cost sensitivity without compromising on the design we wanted, and this was extremely refreshing to us, and unequaled by anyone else, Joana was able to complete the drawings for our job within a very short time period.

After making the decision to use Choyal Landscaping for this job, Joana continued to be responsive ti us, and she kept us apprised during each stage of the work. This was particularly important to us because during the time that that the work was being done, we were back in New Jersey, and we couldn’t see the work as it progressed. However, despite this, we were confident that Joana would monitor the work for us, and we always felt that she took full responsibility for the work as though it was being performed in her own home. When the work was finished, we were extremely satisfied.
